Mittens is a tiny little thing at barely 9lbs. She is not the end all be all for me, but I like her enough combined with her size, that my intent is to breed her in a way to combine pedigree, bring back "the look" I like, and reduce size in future generations, which has never been my focus. However, this little bitch is nice enough to attempt that "project", and she has a darling little personality like her father, Bugsy.
We are waiting for her to mature some, and then will try her in the show ring again. She was started at the DCA National 2025, but barely 6 months old at the time.

Orange Banana picked up 5 points her very first weekend at the Central Ohio Dachshund Club Specialites going WB/BOW/BOS/BBBP over specials for a major under judge Anne Schmidt then going WB/BOW/BBBP under judge Ryan Horvath
Her second weekend of shows, she picked up 3 more singles, going WB 3 of the 4 days.

"Neo" had been placed into a pet home despite showing lots of promise as a puppy, but there's that saying of, "can't keep them all". However, his family went through some unexpected life changes, and Neo has come back to us as a 7 month old VERY promising puppy. While he is definitely in a gangly stage, I have confidence this young guy is going to be quite a stunner once mature in a couple years and I think I have some future breeding plans in mind for him already, pending he passes his OFA health testing and continues to show promise. He is already proving he likes to use his nose, so the Field is the first place he will be started since we are coming right into Field Trial season October 2025.

Vivi is a girl with most all my foundation dogs combined. She obtained her CH before a year of age, and has been lightly started in the Field, as she's been a little slower to mature. We will be going gung ho Fall 2025, and hoping she's now ready to hunt at 2.5 years of age.
