We are an AKC Breeder of Merit Bronze who has produced Absolute Field winners, Multiple Dual Champions, many other Grand Champions, titles in Performance and Companion Events, National ranking and National placing dogs, as well as every single one makes fabulous healthy companion pets.
Adult Dog pricing is very different than a puppy. It varies greatly depending on if the dog is spayed/neutered, is a show prospect, is retired from the show ring, and it's training, skills, etc.

All dogs used in our breeding program receive their CHIC number - OFA and Embark DNA health tested, and deemed physically and temperamentally sound either through showing or working the dog in the job it was intended to do.
While every dog is cherished and loved here, included as a part of our family, we want some of them the opportunity to be adored by others. Select few will be offered to those who are looking for a very special mature adult dog (not a senior); maybe as an only dog, or maybe we feel they have a special gift and would like to share them with that right person or family. Homes will be screened very carefully. Placement of an adult dog is much different than a puppy and most times they never make it to the website as we have past owners who jump at the opportunity, or someone who has already established an ongoing relationship of interest.

Reiny is a beautiful example of one of our well bred Dachshunds, with many accomplishments in the show ring. She was also lightly started at Field trials. Reiny has given us one beautiful litter of puppies, which is all our intentions were, so she is ready to move on to a different life and be someone's bed companion!
She has traveled thousands of miles, literally, while attending dog shows and trials. She rides perfectly in a crate, never gets car sick, and would love a life if you like to travel with your dog.
Reiny is a mature, composed Dachshund, and can happily be a couch companion all day every day! But, Reiny says she would like for you to have a good pitching arm, because she LOVES to play fetch!
Reiny is easy to get along with, is good with cats, she is young, healthy, in excellent condition.
This is some advancement planning on our part, but we are interested in accepting applications for a future placement, if waiting a little while is what your plans are as well. It will be a great time to get to know more about her and if she's a good fit, for in the meantime.
Reiny is only available to what we think will be the best home for her. She is not available to the first person who thinks they want her.

"Reiny" is a very promising girl that I have looked forward to adding to our breeding program.
Reiny was has been awarded nicely from breeder judges and recognized for her beautiful breed type. She won Best Bred By In Show and Best Puppy in Show when she was barely 6 months of age at the IABCA Show in Gray Summit, MO 2023.
Reiny is a very sweet and playful girl, always looking to play fetch with a ball, stuffy, or a walnut that has fallen from the tree. She doesn't care as long as you toss her something!
She has shown some promise in the bunny fields, and we hope to get her to some trials real soon.
Her future here is bright, and we look forward to her first litter in 2026.

Felix is looking for the very best home and life.
I want him to be cherished.
The center of attention. Appreciated. Kept in excellent physical shape. With someone who spares no expense when it comes to their pets.
This is not a rescue situation of any kind, so there is no rush in my decision as to which home I will choose. This is a privilege situation owning a Dachshund such as him!
A little background- Felix is 4.5 years old, and had a rather extensive show career in 2022 and 2023. He fairly easily attained his field championship as well. He is a Silver Grand Champion, a Dual Champion. An IABCA Champion. Placed at the National both in Conformation and Field.
Felix would love to do Nosework, Rally, or Obedience. He has not been started in those, but he is eager to please. He has natural and excellent eye focus, he's intelligent, and a desire to be with you that is comforting.
He is EASY to live with. He is quiet, clean, and one of the most handsome boys to look at every day.
His new owner MUST be a die hard Dachshund fan. An owner who can take advice from his breeder about his long term health, happiness, and training. Someone who WILL stay in touch. Someone who plans all their vacations to include their dog. Their weekends involve "where can we take Felix", pup cups, etc.
Getting an adult dog from our breeding program is MUCH different than getting a puppy. There are many years and generations of planning, there is the time spent on the road traveling, with wins and losses at shows.
Welcoming a dog like this into your home, you are bringing in a piece of our history, what was part of our future, a beautiful representation of the breed, with lots of careful planning and care.

Placement of adult dogs is a very different process than a puppy. It can be a very emotional one. These are dogs whose lives were planned and created long before they were ever born. They are dogs who have been raised to be the best Dachshunds they can be. Dachshunds who represent their breed well. They are dogs who have traveled to more states than you sometimes. Been loved and cherished beyond measure. Most have contributed to our breeding program in some small way. However, some don't quite make "the cut". These are very special dogs who are well loved and cared for. But, as a preservation breeder who is actively breeding and always selecting their best prospects to be used in the future of good Dachshunds, not every dog can stay and it's only fair they too get to go on every car ride, every adventure, every pup cup treat, and every night sleeping beside you. Placing adult dogs is a challenge. We are happy to share though when the right home for the right dog comes along.

The cost of an adult dog is on individual basis, and they are not Free.
Our dogs come trained in different areas, are well traveled, and ENJOY going on car rides. They are housebroken, live a loved life in our home, may know how to hunt and kill rodents, others prefer nothing more than be homebodies and cuddle all day. Each dog is different.
