Proper and conscientious placement of our Blueprint K9 puppies is of utmost importance to us. Please fill out this application truthfully, and as completely as you can in order to help us understand your experience with dogs, and expectations of the dog you seek.
Dachshunds are a wonderful breed, but they are not the right breed for everyone. The more we know about you and what you are looking for in a companion, show dog, working K9, the better we can facilitate a lifelong match that is in the best interest of both our puppy/dog and you and your family.

Did you attend obedience classes, or do any formal training with your dog(s)?

Do you plan to spay/neuter your new puppy? If so, at what age?
If you plan to spay/neuter, are you willing to wait until the dog is at least 18-24 months of age, as this is the best age for a dog to properly develop in health and mentally?

Can you provide us with a vet and personal reference? Please list your verifiable references here with name, numbers, and relation to you.
Photos of current/past dogs, and where the dog will live? Pictures would include family vacations, activities, family with the dog. Photos showing the condition of current?past dogs, etc. We are not interested in how fancy your home is.
Are you willing to travel to us to pick up your puppy? We occasionally do offer transport if we happen to be headed your direction for dog related travel, but planning a pick up at our home or local airport is required (Springfield-Branson Regional Airport).

Although there are certain personality and behavioral traits that can be identified as breed specific, every dog is an individual, and every family situation unique. We work hard to educate the public about this wonderful breed, and our greatest joy is the successful placement of our Blueprint K9 puppies into good loving homes, and the proper one.
