All dogs used in our breeding program receive their CHIC number - OFA and Embark DNA health tested, deemed physically and temperamentally sound either through showing or working the dog in the job it was intended to do-hunting/tracking dogs. The Dachshund Club of America approved test for hunting ability for a Dachshund is a Field Trial, in which they track a live rabbit (no rabbits are harmed).
The boys we may offer at stud, will have OFA/CHIC#, be at minimum an AKC Champion of record, and have outstanding temperaments. Inquiries encouraged from ethical and established breeders, who display true dedication of this breed.

"FELIX" finished the 2023 year as AKC's #9 Dachshund, all sizes.
We are very very grateful to Sandy Russell of Duchwoods Kennels in allowing us to use her boys to satisfy our vision for our breeding program and future.
Felix has a very gentle sweet nature about him and is producing great looking sweet puppies.
Felix obtained his DUAL CHAMPIONSHIP October 2023.
Felix has his first 2 litters on the ground here, and we are excited to watch them grow and develop. In those litters, he's produced 3 champions so far, which are/were owned by Blueprint.

Oxford was selected from a breeder in Russia to bring in the merle pattern and some unrelated bloodlines, but most importantly, his beautiful neck, topline, and movement. We got a HUGE bonus with his TEMPERAMENT! He is the most ball crazy Dachshund I have ever owned, and is so fun to train with his insane drives and engagement with the handler. If I ever get time outside of conformation shows, this is a dog I need to do performance events with. He is FUN!
